Biographical Info:
Education:
I graduated from South High School in 1968, completed
Facilitator Institute in 1999, and Advocacy Academy in 2001.
Business / Occupation:
I served as Administrator and teacher at Silver Creek
Academy (k-12) in Park City for 20 years. I served on the Summit Co. Service
Area #3 board of trustees as secretary & bookkeeper for 3 years. I am
a mother of four grown children and now have 16 grandchildren.
Associations / Organizations:
I currently serve on the Salt Lake Area Foster Care
Citizen's Review Board, Community Actions Director for
Principle Voices of Polygamy,
and Chairperson for a Polygamy Steering Committee. I am a member of the
Sierra Club,
Amnesty International,
ACLU, and
Southern Poverty Law Center.
Talents / Skills:
I have had experience in herbology, iridology, and
kinesiology. I train and facilitate self-awareness. I am a child advocate
and
piano teacher.
Hobbies / Personal Interests:
I love golf, movies, just being outside with nature,
traveling to new places and experiencing new people, and learning about
different cultures.
