Issue: Marriage Government needs to get out of the business of marriage and defining what constitutes a family. Marriage is a private, ecclesiastical affair, a sacred covenant between two people. Marriage is a personal choice where it harms no one else. My definition of marriage and family can not be threatened by another person’s definition unless it is forced on me by law. The only thing that threatens the “traditional marriage” in this country is divorce.
