Advocate/activist promises big change in government!

Summit Co, Utah, 9/22/04 - Political activist and child advocate, Linda Kelsch of Park City, Utah, announced her candidacy for the House of Representatives for District #53 for the Personal Choice Party in the November election.

Why should anyone in Summit, Wasatch, Daggett, Morgan, and Rich counties vote for an unknown candidate on a new party ticket?

“The majority of Americans polled believe American government and politics has taken a turn in the wrong direction with big government, excessive spending, and astronomical debt leaving an unstable and dangerous legacy for our children,” Linda says. “I’m deeply concerned for their future.”

She believes America is ready for a fresh, new party with a simple, inclusive platform, based on mutual respect for diversity and individual freedoms where it harms no one and protects the rights of all.

A vote for Personal Choice would be a strong statement that Utahns want a government that will secure their rights, not take them away.

Linda believes a vote for either of the two main parties is a vote for the status quo and will keep citizens in the vicious cycle of party politics based on fear.

She says, “With the two main party’s infighting, mudslinging, and campaign spending out of control, the results are big government, excessive spending, more control, and less freedoms. I believe Utahns are ready for big change in government.”
